Singapore – Borneo Motors (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Inchcape Motors recently launched their Lexus Flagship model – The New Lexus LS 460 & LS Full Hybrid. Mr Koh Ching Hong, Managing Director of Borneo Motors, members of the press, and partner of the launch debut –Citigold and Flower Diamond Boutique; were amongst the group of 250 select guests that attended the dazzling launch event held at ONE° 15 Marina Club on 26 January 2010.

Ms Janice Mok, host for the evening welcomed the audience and proceeded to introduce Mr Koh Ching Hong, Managing Director of Borneo Motors Singapore, to render an opening address.

The reinvention of the LS 460 & LS Full Hybrid was further explained by Mr Klaus Redomske, Marketing Director of Borneo Motors Singapore. He emphasized that the LS 460 & LS Full Hybrid featured not only 13 Worlds’ First technologies, but also key elements such as the smart key entry and start system, L-Finesse styling, the Mark Levinson premium sound system and many other advanced features. These features include the active front headrests, increased airbags, Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), intelligent adaptive front lighting system, and Intelligent Park Assist (IPA). Mr Redomske also touched on the differences between the LS Full Hybrid’s system, versus mild hybrids in the market for an insightful and interesting presentation.

Three cars, the LS 460 Standard, LS 460 Sports, and the LS Full Hybrid were grandly displayed in the ballroom, each flanked by a beautiful model. The night kicked off to the smooth sounds of local artiste, Ruth Ling, while she enchanted the audience with her solo performance on the grand piano.

Guests were treated to a night full of glamour as they enjoyed the delightful spread of fine wines and cuisine. Not only did the guests have a chance to take a close look of the new LS 460 and LS Full Hybrid, but they also had opportunities to capture picture perfect moments with the models and the vehicles that were instantly printed on commemorative wallet sized cards.

The LS is equipped with up to 13 World’s First technologies. These include the combination of a V8 gasoline engine with an all wheel drive hybrid drive train for the LS Full Hybrid; and overhead air diffusers, air-chamber rear seat massager and seat-cushion anti-submarine airbags for both the LS 460 & LS Hybrid. The LS now also comes in a sports version, giving an extra edge to drivers who want a sporty experience with the Brembo brakes, unique 19 inch sport rims, paddle shifters, front sport seats and a mesh grille design. The Lexus LS is one of the most technologically advanced cars that is a breathtaking expression of craftsmanship, luxury and performance- providing a powerful drive for powerful people.

Being one of the select guests at this exclusive launch, they would have had the privilege of being one of the first few in Singapore to have a look and feel of the new LS 460 & LS Full Hybrid.
